cÉilÍ's

Irish céilí (kay-lee) dancing is the native group dancing of Ireland. Some of our dances can be traced back to the 1500's!

We will select dances that are easy to learn and perform. With experience of teaching group dances to hundreds of people at one time we can make it work for your event.  We can call céilí's for corporate events and private parties.

Torc Céilí Club’s education program is designed to stimulate the physical, intellectual and creative abilities of students through dance and music workshops, presentations and a variety of activities.

Dance has tremendous potential in all aspects of a child’s development. Not only do dance and music aid and improve coordination and flexibility, increase strength and promote a healthy and active lifestyle, they also develop communication skills, teamwork, self-confidence, self-expression and creativity.

TCC caters for students from Pre-Primary – Year 12 and can provide a program for a whole term residency or one-off workshops.
